We had portfolio reviews the other day. Out of everything I've done this year, the only piece to catch my tutors eye was the charcoal portrait I did with my EYES CLOSED.
... THAT JUST TAKES THE FRICKIN' WILLY.

So yeah. If I fuck this up, maybe I'll take a gap year then try and get onto a creative writing course or something. It's pretty much the only thing I have a decent A level in and I'm sorta-kinda-maybe-okayish at. Art was my backup plan, this would be the backup plan to rescue my failing backup plan.

Today I finally managed to sort out my university applications! Should be taking illustration at either Bournemouth, Coventry, Brighton or Plymouth. Brighton is my route A top choice, though there's no way in hell they'll let me in

Tonight will be spent clapping and attempting look interested whilst 200-odd people walk back and forth between a stage and their seats, collecting various certificates and awards. Prize giving thingy at my old sixthform... Ehhhh

On a brighter note... I cannot wait until saturday.

You know what else is a good site? Postsecret. [link] Everyone's already seen it, I know, but it entertains me. The Postsecret videos on youtube are cool. Worth a browse if you're really bored and don't mind backing track after backing track of All American Rejects "Dirty Little Secret".

Anyway, enough about the internet. For those who are interested (that'd be nobody, but hey!) I managed to pass my assessment on Tuesday. My tutor even said that I was "hard working"... I haven't been called "hard working" since year 9 It has to be said, my improved attitude to work definitely has a lot to do with the steady decline of my social life.
