I'm not dead

I don't have that much time for DA or the internet in general any more. I've moved out now and I've started my illustration course. It's good - much better than last year. The standard of work my class has been producing has gone up ten fold since foundation. I'm almost definitely the worst drawer in my whole group :) But never mind. Seeing everyone elses work is helping to inspire me and is giving me lots of ideas. The fact that everyone seems to be better than me is also bringing out the competitive side of my personality :P I'm sure with practice I'll catch up with the others eventually.

Moving out has been mad. My housemates are all crazy :) On our first night here we all went skinny dipping in the sea at 4am :lol: We've turned out garden into something amazing by introducing a paddling pool, space hoppers and a gazebo. Living away from home is fun :)

Hows everyone at Bmouth? I really miss you all actually. :(

My course has been a bit gay but alright. haven't really done much (apart from draw trees) so it'll be better when the course gets going.

Bath is quite nice city-wise too, sorta getting to know my way around. :)

Everyone else has internet but me >_< My computers too old to pick up the network signal. Hopefully getting a new computer soon though.

Ahhrgh our first few days of our course was kinda like that but since then we've had to complete an assignment and we've started a new project on editorial illustration. So much work! :noes:

Yeah, I really like Bath it's such a nice city :) Have you seen laura or anyone about?

Yeah its so annoying, we've been going through hell as well coz one of our housemates boyfriend's promised to get it for us and it didn't come and all this shit..blah.

That sounds cool, we have a bit of work too but its not very interesting. We were, I kid you not, cutting out circles and squares the other day to make pictures out of. :lol:

Yeah it is a nice city, I haven't seen Laura actually...doesn't Gemma go to Bath Spa as well?

hahayeah we did loads of that at Foundation. I've been set a bit of life drawing but not nearly as much as at Bmouth.

House is okay, I have a decent sized room really which is nice. Housemates are okay as well, two I've really got to know but 3rd housemate is always off with her BF so we never really see her and he's kind of an arse anyway :\ but other than that all is ok. :)
